Context for Abby:
Sissy Doll AbbyHer head was fuzzy… Her chest was heavy… Where am I? What happened? The usual stuff that runs through your head after you’re kidnapped and experimented on. Let’s wind it back.
Abby was a skinny and flat chested averaged looking girl. Maybe flat is a little harsh but she noticed the way boys didn’t look at her. It was always a worry to her that she wasn’t ‘pretty enough’ not to mention the way her few friends made her the butt of most of their jokes. It didn’t help that she had a somewhat tomboyish nature despite her girly longings plus her ‘lack’ of feminine figure had her dressing like a boy since it was easier. Throw in the short hair and obvious dislike of ‘pretty’ girls it’s an easy recipe for angst. So, considering that her family, just her grandma, and her three friends weren’t exactly all that supportive and caring plus how much magazines told her be prettier it isn’t all that surpris

They decided to commission me for a scene taking place within the same story that they wrote for my birthday, so this was very fun to work on! If you'd like to read the original story (what happened to the Rosie doll on the right), this is your context:

It’s amazing what science can achieve. It can take centuries of slow study or an amazing coincidence that dwarfs everything that came before it. Such an achievement was recently made by a group of privately funded scientists known as RIGHT (Research Institute for Genetics and Hypnotic Transformation). This discovery was eternal youth. They discovered a method to alter a person’s genetic code so that they never age. It’s not without some drawbacks but it does allow eternal life. Through this discovery they also learned how to manipulate everything else about the body including susceptibility to and effectiveness of hypnosis. It was clear that the treatment had great potential, all they needed now were more test subjects…

I'll likely do something like this again sometime. I need to pick a time when artists aren't too stressed, so it'll likely be a time away from the holidays and exam finals. Maybe over the summer? We'll see. I could always just make the deadline a long ways away, though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to just make it another "Draw Rosie a bunch!" contest. That's quite the amazing rush getting fanart of you from other artists. I'll think of something a little less self-indulgent though.~
